We are constantly on the look-out for...

We always welcome applications for apprentices, grinders and electroplaters. If you have the relevant experience, please get in touch with us today to talk about the next step in your career:

Apprentices

We run a continuous programme of apprentice recruitment and development across all areas of BEP.

From those training to be skilled machinists, to maintenance teams, commercial and administration. We love recruiting locally and building a real community feel to BEP.

Please contact us if you are looking for an apprenticeship or if you work with apprentice engineers looking for placements.

Grinders

We have a high demand for skilled cylindrical grinders to work in the most comprehensive machine shop of its type in the UK.

You need to be a time-served engineer, willing to both learn and train others and able to work to fine tolerances and surface finishes. We grind shafts and rollers of all sizes up 1200 mm dia x approx. 3-6 meters long. Experience on smaller machines is welcome as full training will be given.

Electroplaters

We have the most sophisticated and highest-quality electroplating department in the UK, meaning our services are in very high demand for both conventional and innovative plating solutions.

We are always on the look-out for experienced electroplaters with experience of chrome and nickel plating on shafts and rollers. The team are all crossed-trained on the use of engineering measuring equipment and the use of overhead cranes and handling equipment. If you have skills in these areas too then that is an advantage, otherwise we are excellent at training.
